The Stone Tavern Farm was originally used as an overnight stop for ox drivers
who took milk and other goods over the mountains from Bovina, New York. The 400 acre property has been in the Burrows family
off and on for 150 years and was a working dairy farm until 1980, and still features many farm animals. It's in an exquisitely
beautiful location and offers several rooms in the main building plus a separate bungalow. They also have many horses
and offer riding lessons and trail rides, and numerous other activities as well.
They're located just a few miles from town and are close to Plattekill Mountain skiing
and mountain biking . Their phone number is (607) 326-3600 and the
link is: www.stonetavernfarm.com
